Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including NDAs, MoUs, Service Agreements, Employment Agreements, Partnership Agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Provide legal support for carbon project development, consulting engagements, and business operations.
• Ensure contracts and company activities comply with applicable Indonesian laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal due diligence and identify legal risks associated with projects, partnerships, and commercial transactions.
• Review legal aspects related to carbon projects, including carbon rights, land tenure, forestry regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Monitor and interpret developments in regulations related to carbon markets, environmental law, forestry, ESG, and climate policy.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, government agencies, clients, and project partners as needed.Develop and maintain legal templates, internal policies, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Legal Officer, Corporate Legal, or Legal Counsel.
• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements and corporate legal documents.
• Knowledge of Indonesian corporate, contract, environmental, or natural resources law.
• Understanding of carbon markets, carbon project development, forestry, ESG, or sustainability regulations is highly preferred.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
