Muhammad Bagus Pratomo

CEO & Co -Founder

Muhammad Bagus Pratomo is the Chief Executive Officer of Decarbonize, a climate advisory and decarbonization firm supporting organizations in navigating emissions reduction strategies and carbon market readiness across Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Birmingham, integrating technical systems thinking with global business and policy perspectives. He also has further strengthened his expertise through professional training in Greenhouse Gas Accounting, Carbon Market Fundamentals, and ISO 14034 Environmental Technology Verification.

Beyond his work at Decarbonize, Bagus holds several leadership roles within prominent professional and alumni networks. He is actively involved in HIPMI Jaya and serves in key positions within British alumni organizations, including as General Secretary of the Indonesian Alumni Association of the University of Birmingham. A proud alumnus of the University of Birmingham, his engagement across business, alumni, and professional communities reflects a commitment to leadership, collaboration, and capacity building, which continues to shape his approach to advancing credible, market-based, and inclusive climate solutions in Indonesia.
Ayasha Sagita is the Co-Founder of Decarbonize and an environmental professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy and sustainability sector, specializing in environmental permitting (AMDAL/ESIA), carbon management, and regulatory compliance for large-scale and strategic projects in Indonesia. Her expertise spans complex regulatory environments, ensuring that major developments meet national environmental standards while integrating sustainability best practices from early planning through execution.

Currently, Ayasha manages end-to-end AMDAL/ESIA processes for National Strategic Projects, including high-profile initiatives such as carbon capture and compression (CCS/CCUS) developments. Her work covers environmental baseline studies, impact assessments, multi-stakeholder engagement with local communities and government authorities, and the integration of environmental management and monitoring plans. She holds Bachelor of Environment Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. In addition, she brings hands-on experience in GHG emissions calculation, ISO 14001 implementation, ESG data management, and sustainability reporting, supporting organizations in delivering responsible, compliant, and sustainable operations.

Rusman Sudaya is a carbon technical expert with over two decades of experience developing GHG emission reduction from both technological and Nature Based Solution (NBS) projects across the world. He successfully delivered Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) under the robust UNFCCC registry system from 4 projects out of 12 projects he registered and developed an approved UNFCCC methodology for retrofitting diesel engines.

Transitioning from a corporate sustainability directorship role, he now focuses on NBS by conducting forest carbon potential assessments; developing project design and monitoring; and providing advisory. He has completed 9 carbon potential assessments applying APD Verra VM0007, 4 Verra Project Descriptions Development applying VM0007, VM0010 and VM0047, 1 mangrove carbon accounting applying APWD  & RWE Verra VM0007 and 1 mangrove carbon accounting applying AUWD & ARR applying VM0007 in Mozambique. He has been also in the advisory role for multiple NBS projects worldwide.

Muhammad Fakhri Fadhlurrahman serves as Chairman of Decarbonize, providing strategic leadership and long-term vision to support the company’s growth and mission in advancing impactful climate solutions. A serial investor, he brings extensive experience in capital deployment, portfolio strategy, and business scaling across multiple sectors, supporting the company’s disciplined and forward-looking approach to growth.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Korea University, a background that strengthens his perspective on technology-driven innovation, digital infrastructure, and data-led decision-making. In his role as Chairman, Fakhri guides corporate strategy, strengthens governance, and supports the executive team in building a resilient organization that balances innovation, commercial viability, and long-term value creation within Indonesia’s evolving decarbonization and carbon market landscape

Muhammad Riandy Haroen serves as Commissioner of Decarbonize, providing strategic oversight and governance leadership to support the company’s mission of advancing credible, market-aligned climate solutions. He brings extensive experience in organizational leadership, entrepreneurship, and business ecosystem development, strengthening Decarbonize’s strategic direction, risk management, and long-term value creation.

In addition to his role at Decarbonize, Riandy is the Chairman of HIPMI Jaya, where he plays a leading role in promoting entrepreneurship, business innovation, and the growth of young enterprises across Jakarta. A proud alumnus of Atma Jaya University in Law, and Manchester Metropolitan University, his work in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems and private-sector collaboration informs his contribution as Commissioner, ensuring that Decarbonize’s growth is grounded in strong governance, commercial sustainability, and positive socio-economic impact.
